Bowers & Wilkins P7 was the company’s flagship over-ear headphone before the larger P9 headphone was released. The latest P7 Wireless adds AptX Bluetooth connectivity without forgetting those who still prefers uncompromising sound. With the included cable attached, it sounds nearly as good as the Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship P9.
The detachable / changeable ear pads are wrapped is super soft sheep skin, which is noticeably more breathable than synthetic materials found on most competitors’ headphones. The head band is wrapped in similar soft sheep skin as well, making P7 one of the most comfortable over-ear headphone we have experienced, especially for long listening sessions.
The sound of P7 is beautifully colored, with good control of dynamics, detailed high and generous bass. In our opinion, Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless offers the best over-ear headphone experience at the under $500 segment.
