Bang & Olufsen never failed to amaze us with each of its product release, the BeoSound 35 is yet another example. We have to admit that BeoSound 35 is an odd looking wireless speaker … but it is unique and beautiful in its own way. Its look definitely grew on us over time.
BeoSound 35 is an all-in-one Multiroom capable wireless speaker with intuitive touch interface built-in. Being part of Bang & Olufsen’s high-end “BeoSound” line, it is meant to be a top-of-the-line product.
Crafted from aluminium and designed to fill the entire room with a well-balanced sound whether placed on a table or a wall. The craftsmanship is impeccable, needless to say. You can feel its lavishness by simply touching its surface.
BeoSound 35 is packed with connectivity possibilities. It streams music from AirPlay, ChromeCast, Bluetooth 4.0, and DLNA. It also offers integrated access to Spotify Connect, Deezer, TuneIn online radios and QQ Music for the Chinese market. At the back, you will find physical sockets for optical, as well as an RCA input, allowing it to be connected to your TV and use it as the soundbar. In addition, BeoSound 35 can be linked with other Multiroom capable speaker systems via its Beoplay App.
Driven by 2 x 4 inch 80 watt bass drivers and 2 x of 3/4 inch 80 watt tweeters, its sound is tremendously detailed, yet expansive and room filling, but don’t expect booming low end from BeoSound 35 as it is not designed to deliver thunderous bass.
If you do not have the space needed by BeoSound 35, or looking for a speaker with smaller footprint, then take a look at the equally attention-getting BeoSound 2 and the more minimalistic Beoplay A6 and Beoplay A9 or even the tiny tennis-ball-like Beoplay S3 before making your purchase decision.
