Bang & Olufsen Beoplay S3 are considered as tiny for home wireless speakers, but it offers something much larger than its size.
The inspiration and shape of Beoplay S3 originates from two objects. The first is a dodecahedron, some sort of Platonic solid, which is a geometric form named after the ancient Greek philosopher Plato. The second shape is a tennis ball. The 2 objects are merged with each other to form a fusion shape – a shape that is perfect for delivering multi-directional sound.
Start with one – add more later. Quick and simple Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy for you to play from any of your source devices. One speaker could fill the room with great ambient sound, but you can also pair two speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth and Beoplay App to form a stereo experience. Or connect 3 or 4 speakers via cables for a complete ambient speaker system.
Beoplay S3’s core is made from solid anodized aluminium and the body is made from a polymer for optimal acoustic characteristics while eliminating resonance. You could also purchase front covers in different colors to match the aesthetics of your environment.
Sound is delivered via a combined 240 watts of amazing peak power, driving 2 speaker drivers, a 3/4 inch tweeter and a 4 inch woofer. A dedicated DSP algorithm helps you control the Ambient setting, for fine tuning your desired sound.
Beoplay S3 is an unusual wireless speaker that allows you to experiment and exercise your creativity. It is small, and would easily double serve as decorative object in your home.
