Sony LSPX-S1 Glass Sound is not an ordinary speaker, it is a “mood” speaker that will transform the space around you. The glass tube tweeter plays crystal-clear audio in every direction, for music that sounds as if it’s being performed right in front of you, wherever you are. Sony newly developed audio technology delivers clear, authentic sound that you can hear throughout the whole room. Unlike an ordinary speaker, the Glass Sound Speaker can be placed on a table or anywhere you like. Enjoy clear sound from a dimmable, warm LED that mimics a lantern or candle.

Sony

Sony is one of the largest and oldest consumer electronics giant in the history. You may have heard of Sony and even used some of its products, but you may not know much about its origin. Sony was founded right after World War 2 ended, in 1946, by Masaru Ibuka as an electronics shop in a department store building in Tokyo. It had $530 in capital and 8 employees. He was later joined by Akio Morita, and they formed a company name Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo.  In 1958, the Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo company name was changed to a much shortened "Sony". The most notable product ever produced by Sony was the Walkman, in 1979. It was equivalent to the iPod of modern days (perhaps even more significant back then). Sony's products are generally well made, well featured and well priced for their purposes.Presently, Sony is headquartered in Kōnan, Minato, Tokyo, with highly diversified businesses.  Sony's divisions includes professional and consumer electronics, gaming gear, movies and even financial services. Sony is one of the largest companies in the world, currently ranked 113th in Fortune Global 500 (as of 2016).
